Xilinx FPGA Contest

Deadline for abstract submission extended till 25th January, 2010.

Total Prize money worth INR 30,000.

Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) are integrated circuits designed to be configured by the customer or designer after manufacturing - hence the name "field programmable". FPGAs can perform any function that an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) can. Advantages of FPGAs include the ability to update functionality after shipping, and the low non-recurring engineering costs relative to an ASIC design. At the Xilinx FPGA Design Competition, we invite you to explore and gain hands-on experience with the versatile Virtex FPGA devices.
