Mr. Shantanu Srivastava is presently the Managing Director & CEO, Ishan International Pvt. Ltd. and the Chairman of Ishan Foundation. He is also the Managing Director & CEO, Norvis Holdings (Singapore) Pte.Ltd. and  Founder Chairman of The Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam (INCHAM).

He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, with a B. Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering in the year 1977. In 1982 he was attached to the Indian Embassy, Hanoi, Vietnam, as Second Secretary. Born a team-leader and guided by his entrepreneurial instinct he started his own business in 1990, and subsequently set up Ishan International Pvt. Ltd. in India.

Mr. Srivastava, with his strong patriotic leanings, and love for his second home, Vietnam, has contributed immensely to promote India-Vietnam economic relations by providing technical consultation, process technology and infrastructure development to various critical industries. He has been instrumental in the expansion of Indian presence and exports in various sectors.

Mr. Srivastava helped the Embassy of India in setting up of the office of the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City. He also mobilized the Indian business community and set up the Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam in 1998 and was its founder chairman. He played a significant role in raising the bilateral trade between India and Vietnam. He is currently working on starting a 'Vietnam Business Center' in New Delhi for promotion of bilateral trade, investment and tourism.

Mr. Srivastava expanded the activities of Ishan International Pvt. Ltd. into other asian countries like Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore and Bangladesh. He has also been actively associated with social welfare and cultural activities. He has now established an NGO, Ishan Foundation, to carry forward these social activities.

Mr. Srivastava is one of the most decorated foreigners in Vietnam. For his extraordinary contribution for promotion of India Vietnam friendship and business cooperation, he received the 'Friendship Order of Vietnam' from the President of Vietnam.

He received the Honorary Citizenship of Ho Chi Minh City in 1992. His name figures as one of the best friends of Vietnam in a book published in 2006, by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO), Government of Vietnam.

His pioneering efforts in promoting and diversifying trade relations between India and Vietnam have been recognized at the highest levels in both countries.

In recognition of his outstanding entrepreneurial contributions and for promoting Indo-Vietnam relations, Mr. Shantanu Srivastava was conferred with the Distinguished AlumnusAward of the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in 2009.
