Why arent any talks scheduled? Are you guys lazy?

1) Talks are way over rated - We have noticed in the past that >95% gain squat from the talks.

2) FOSSkriti organizers are not lazy - just pre-occupied :)

Do we need to "show you the code"?

No :)

But my Friend said "Workshop attend kar loge to job lag jayegi" ?

We wish we could answer that, but we refrain from using coarse language on our websites :)

Does FOSSkriti provide accomodation?

Yes ,Techkriti will be providing you accomodation and messing.Make sure you register at Hospitality portal 

How do i register for accomodation?

Does FOSSkriti give out certificates for participants?

No , You would get a  certificate for general  participication in Techkriti but we won't give out any certificates for FOSSkriti since it is a mini-FOSS conference and certificates aren't usually given at these kind of events.

Is it necessary to be familiar with Software programming before hand?

No, For talks and workshops you need not.But for hackfests , we assume you are atleast familiar with basic developmental tools .

Can I visit FOSSkriti for 1 day and leave?

Yes , Its up to you to visit for 1 day or the entire period.

Is it necessary to register even if you dont want accomodation?

Yes , Since we have to register every participant due to securtiy issues.Register at Hospitality portal and check the 'Iam a kanpur resident'  option.

Where will I find you during Techkriti?

 As soon as you reach Campus , Go to SAC (Students Activity Centre) and hopefully you will find us there in our Help-desk cum promotional stalls.
