    hi,
    Can we use some wire or thread which will wound to the axle of the wheels and stops it. There will be no usage of the wedge, the other end of the thread will be tied to some part of our vehicle itself...??

    We are very pleased that you came up with some ideas. Yes surely you can do this and it will surely not depend on the friction of the wedge to a greater extent.
