For the first time ever an exhibition is of the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) is set to stage in IIT Kanpur . With a Mission to develop Nuclear Power Technology and to produce Nuclear Power, as a safe, environmental friendly and an economically viable source of electrical energy to meet the increasing  need of electricity in the country, the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited is a Public Sector Enterprise under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. The Company was registered as a Public Limited Company in 1987 with the objective of operating the atomic power stations and implementing the atomic power projects for generation of electricity in pursuance of the schemes and programmes of the Government of India under the Atomic Energy Act. The exhibition will be set up on various aspects of nuclear power technology and will contain photographic panels, few static and dynamic models of nuclear components and screening of video films and multimedia presentations
