Bot Specifications

Manual:

1)  There will be only one manual robot allowed for one team.
2)  At any point of time during game play , the dimension should not exceed 300 mm x 300 mm x 200 mm (lXbXh).
3)  The manual robot must be stable and able to move on its own. Robot not fulfilling these criteria will be disqualified.
4)  The Manual bot control can be wired or wireless. But if wired, the wire should remain lose all the time in the event.
5)  Power supply can be on board (battery) or off board (i.e. through some adopter). The team must ensure that the wire does not entangle.
6)  The onboard power supply must remain within the restricted size of the robot i.e. 300mm X 300mm x 200mm (l x b x h)
7)  The external wired remote control used to control the Robot is not included in this size constraint.
8)  Manual Robot cannot be constructed using readymade Lego kits or any readymade mechanism. Violating the rule will result into disqualification.
9)  Each team has to bring its own power supply for its Robots.
10) The Voltage difference between any two points on any of the robot must not exceed 24 V DC.

Autonomous robot:

1) There will be only one Autonomous robot allowed for one team.

2) During the whole event the Autonomous robot must fit within a square of 200 mm x 200 mm x 200 mm (l x b x h).

3) The Autonomous robot must be stable and able to move on its own. Robot not fulfilling these criteria will be disqualified.

4) As the event requires the autonomous robot to follow a wall it should be able to do so.

5) The teams are advised to use an on-board power supply for autonomous robot. In case they are using external power supply, they will be responsible for any problem created by entanglement in wires.

6) Each team has to bring its own power supply for its Robots.

7) The Voltage difference between any two points on any of the robot must not exceed 24 V DC.

Robot Controls:

1) The manual robot will be controlled through a wired or wireless remote.

2) The Autonomous will be moving without receiving any signal other than the sensor input.

3) Wired/wireless communication between autonomous and manual robot is NOT allowed. If found the team will be immediately disqualified.

4) There should be no wired connection between the Manual and Autonomous robot not even any wire for power sharing (i.e. both should have their own power supply).

5) The judges can ask for explanation of any mechanism on the bot and if found unsatisfactory or not binding to rules the team will be disqualified.

6) A single person should be controlling the manual robot

5. The judges can ask for explanation of any mechanism on the bot and if found
unsatisfactory or not binding to rules the team will be disqualified.
6. A single person should be controlling the manual robo
