Arena Specifications

Some general points describing the arena are:

  • The width in general would be smaller than or equal to 70 cm.

  • The controller or controllers would have ample space between the arenas to move.

  • An arrangement of plank of width 3cm and gap between subsequent planks is 4cm.

  • A uniform layer of marbles of diameter varying between 2 cm to 5 cm and can be placed in shallow water.

  • First slope of width 70 cm, height 60 cm and base length 110 cm.

  • A circular arc of inner radius 105 cm and outer radius may vary from 145 to 175 cm.

  • A rope bridge of length 105 cm, width 70 cm and at a height of around 60 cm. Note that the bridge is free to sway.

  • Free rollers having horizontal fixed axis passing through centre.

  • Same slope as given in point 3 but ending above ground giving a height of 25cm to jump.

  • A combination of wedges and boxes with wedge (two in no. ) dimension- height 50cm , width 40 cm and base length 70 cm and box dimension-width 70 cm , length 40 cm and height 25 cm and final wedge dimension-height 25 cm ,width 70 cm and length 40 cm (Dimensioning may change for preliminary level).

  • A see-saw of width 70 cm, length 150 cm and height 35 cm.

  • A pit of sand is present at the end of the see-saw.

  • An arrangement of blocks of length ,breadth and height 20 cm, 20 cm and 5-7 cm respectively. The whole set of multiple blocks is confined to within an area of 100 cm *100 cm. There are multiple such arrangements of blocks.

  • Circular region of diameter 40 cm containing a red circular region of diameter 20 cm the bot has to move the victim (a 10cm cube ) out of the red region.

  • Also random avoidable obstacles like toy cars or wreckage, etc. can be present at different points of the arena.
