Bio Business Plan

The Bio Business Plan seeks to encourage the development of biotechnology and health based service industry in India. The event is being conducted under the mentorship of Department of Biological Sciences and Bio Engineering, IIT Kanpur. The Bio Business Plans that would be considered for this category would have to be related to healthcare and bio-engineering in general. We look forward to building on the momentum of last year’s competition to attract the most promising emerging technologies in the region and spur the creation of fundable companies.

Web Business Idea:

On the eve of our Golden Jubilee, Techkriti team aims to make a leap ahead by introducing an altogether new format of its Business Plan contest Ideas. We are really passionate this time about making it the biggest B plan contest in Asia, including really hefty prize money, incubation opportunities and extensive mentorship like interaction with VCs. Under this new format, we plan to award a prize for “The best B plan in web 2.0 category” to the business plan which best represents the new face of the internet-web 2.0.

Clean Energy challenge:

This initiative called “Clean Energy Prize” seeks to nurture individuals/teams/startup companies with environmentally beneficial business proposals with the eventual hope of transforming them into reality. The business must promote clean energy technologies, products or services that would in general include: Biomass, Biogas, Solar, Wind, Geothermal, Hydropower, Tidal/Ocean, Energy efficiency, Distributed generation, Waste-to-energy, Emission reduction etc.

Social Entrepreneurship challenge:

This category is devoted to those plans which would help to strengthen and support the society. Social organizations are those that help to tackle daunting societal problems. The plans may cater to the social needs of any kind,ranging from working conditions and education to community developement and health
