Total Prize money worth INR 20,000. On the spot registration from 11th February 5:00p.m to 12th february 12:00 p.m.

• This is an individual participation event and the registration will be online as well as on  the spot.
• Accommodation would be provided only to those who register for this event online and are invited by the coordinators to participate directly in round 2 of this event.
• Participants registering online would need to send a write-up of 300-400 words to headon@techkriti.org by 25th january on the following topic along with their past experiences in debate competitions(if any). A maximum of 8 will be shortlisted and notified of the same.

             Topic : "When did the future switch from being a promise to being a threat?"

• The participants shortlisted from online registrations will directly move to round 2 whereas participants registering on the spot would have to go through     Round 1(extempore) in which participant has to express his views on the given topic.
• Round 2 would be a debate competition whose topic would be announced well in advance and a total of 4 would make it to final round.
• Final round will be the debate round, where the candidates will be divided into 2 groups. This round may also involve audience and judges asking relevant questions and challenging their views.
• The debate will be evaluated by a panel of judges on the criteria given below:
  Content: Knowledge and depth
  Presentation:
  (i) Style and delivery
  (ii) Capacity to engage the attention of the audience
  Language:
  (i) Lucidity
  (ii) Precision
  Adhering to the time schedule:
•  All the decisions will be taken by our judges and there would be prizes for the best team and best speaker.
• The number of rounds and their contents are liable to change before the event and the change will be informed to all who register.
