First Round

• Each team has to submit a flowchart containing the step by step description of the machine before 17th January, 2010.
• The flowchart should also contain the description (including part drawing) of every part that will be used to perform that step.
• Indicate the parallel processes, if any, clearly in your flowchart. Parallel processes will not be counted in the total number of steps. Parallel steps are the steps which do not affect the machine even if they are removed. Therefore only those steps which when are necessary for the proper functioning of the machine will be counted in the total number of steps.
• It should contain one drawing/photo of the entire expected machine.

Second Round

• In this round, teams shortlisted in first round have to come to IIT Kanpur during Techkriti.

• Teams are supposed to assemble their machine in 20 hours period. The exact timing of this period will be announced later.
• They will be provided space as mentioned.
