FAQ

1) What do we have to do in this challenge?

a) You are required to design an innovative product or find an interesting application using white cement as the major component.

b) You may also think of using white cement as a green building product.

2) Could you give us an example of such a use so that it may provide us a radius of thought?

One way of using white using is to mix it with paper pulp and make paper bricks which is lighter and proved to be of higher strength than conventional bricks. Also, since it has voids it is ductile and hence may prevent sudden collapse of structures thus reducing casualties drastically.

Deterioration of qualities of white cement like its aesthetic values which may occur due to mixing of gray cement or fly ash are strongly discouraged as the basic purpose of white cement is lost.
